WELCOME

The 4th Global Power, Energy and Communication Conference, GPECOM2022, focuses on the latest technologies, researches and challenges of power electronics, energy systems and communication technologies. The conference will be held online and in-person at Perissia Hotel&Convention Center on June 14-17, 2022 . 
The conference is going to be organized in hybrid concept including in-person and  online presentations due to Covid-19 uncertainties.
The purpose of GPECOM2022 is to provide opportunity to share the most recent research outcomes in the areas of Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives, Control Systems, Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Conventional and Renewable Energy Systems, recent technologies of Microgrids and Smart Grids, Communication Systems and Technologies. It is aimed to create a professional network among researchers, academicians, professionals, engineers, and industry on the focused and related research areas of the entire energy infrastructure. Submissions of power, energy, and communication systems research papers presenting the control, modeling, design, integration and applications in technical track (TT) fields are strongly encouraged.
GPECOM2022 is a peer-review conference with blind review process.
The technical topics of the regular sessions include but are not limited to the following topics:
TT1- Power Electronics, Devices and Controllers
TT2- Electrical Machines and Drives
TT3- Conventional and Renewable Energy Technologies
TT4- Smart Grid Researches and Applications
TT5- Communication Technologies and Researches

Paper Submission
Prospective authors are invited to electronically submit full papers in English, 6 pages, in pdf format following instructions accessible via www.gpecom.org. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore online digital library after IEEE technical co-sponsorship approval.
The paper submission and review processes are going to managed via Microsoft Conference Management System (Microsoft CMT) as done in the past GPECOM conferences. The paper submission system can be accessed at https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/GPECOM2022/  address.

Special Sessions
GPECOM2022 conference will include special sessions on highly specialized areas, reporting technical trends and breakthroughs within the scope of the conference. Special Sessions are organized at the initiative of one or more individuals, who must adhere to specific procedures published on the conference website.  
Organizers of a successful Special Session will get a free registration for every 5 papers not authored by any of the organizers and finally included in the program. The organizers can use this registration by themselves when registering to attend the conference.

Final Program GPECOM2022

The final program is scheduled for the accepted and eventually submitted camera-ready papers. The conference program includes 3 tutorials, 6 keynote lectures , and 22 proceeding sessions. 
The general information on virtual IEEE GPECOM2022 are listed below for attendees’ information;
  • The online presentation platform is Microsoft Teams and will be synchronized with the in-person event at the conference venue. 
  • The  presentations are given online and synchronously. Each paper presentation will take 15 minutes which is shared for presentation and a few minutes for Q&A.
  • The conference sessions are scheduled in  Turkey Time Zone (CEST+1) time zone. Please make sure of the difference between your local time and CET zone. This or similar widgets may be helpful.
  • Please check the draft program for your scheduled presentation. In case you need any revision, please send an email to secretary@gpecom.org

Firm Deadline Update: April 24th, 2022

Due to several requests received from researchers, the submission deadline for regular papers and special session papers has been extended to April 24, 2022

Please note that this is the firm deadline and another extension will not be set. We hope that this extension will be useful for authors to take this opportunity for submitting the papers to CMT system. Thank you for your interest to IEEE GPECOM2022.

Special Issue and Best Paper Award from MDPI Energies

Dear Colleagues and Authors,

We are pleased to announce that a special issue with extended versions of selected papers will be published at MDPI Energies Journal. In this end, special issue papers will be selected from presented paper list, and authors will be invited  for post conference publishing. The special issue submissions will have a 20% discount on APC.
